England’s opponents for the beach volleyball competition at the 2018 Commonwealth Games have been revealed.
The draw sees the women’s pair of Vicky Palmer and Jess Grimson set to face Canada, Trinidad and Tobago and Fiji. While Jake Sheaf and Chris Gregory, the England men’s pair, have been drawn in a pool alongside New Zealand, Cyprus, and Mozambique.
When they set foot on the sand of Australia’s Gold Coast in their opening match, the pairs will be history makers as the first players to represent England in beach volleyball at the Commonwealth Games. The pool matches will be played April 6 – 9, 2018, with the knockout stages and finals running from 10-12 April, 2018.
