It was another excellent Inter Regional Beach Championships at the Cardiff Beach Volleyball Centre this weekend, lots of volleyball for everyone. This year the Southwest had three teams entered (Girls x 2, Boy’s x 1) and at the end of two days of competition, the Girls finishing in third and eighth place, and the boys finishing in sixth place.
What did we learn:
We still do not do team photos very well, it’s a SW thing. Perhaps white on our new 2023 beach vest tops may not have been the best colour to choose. We also went self-catering for the first time this year, and yes, boys do wash up as well.
