With wins against the North East and East Midland’s and a couple of loses, the girls just missed out on the Semi-Finals with a 3rd place in their pool. This brought up the match of the weekend against the North East for the 5th v 6th play-off match.
It was a closely fought and thrilling three set match, which had everyone engaged and when the final winning point, eventually came, everyone from both squads joined in with the celebrations (25-18, 20-25, 19-17). It was their final, well done to everyone involved.
