Lots of new items and ideas brought to the table at this year’s AGM, mostly by our younger volunteers who are working in our various programs.
A Few Highlights….
Added items based around managing our accounts, plus setting up a new bursary fund, we also approved a number of updates to the SWVA Constitution.
Our IRC coaches have put forward some changes to the way we manage and finance the program, these were agreed in principle, with the detail to be worked out at the coaches meeting.
A new Junior League, details to be worked out.
Is it the Women’s league or the Ladies league? Our documentation has never been very clear, for 2024/25, it is the Women’s League. We also defined the league’s promotion and relegation text.
As the standard FIVB A3 scoresheet no longer meets our requirements, a new SWVA scoresheet will be available for the new season.
We had a number of refereeing issues raised this year, new team requirements and league solutions will be tried during the 2024/25 season.
