DBS requirements for Assistant Coaches

Volleyball England is updating its DBS requirements for Assistant Coaches from today (1st September) to align with changes to DBS legislation and the regulated activity framework.

From 1st September, Assistant Coaches who undertake regulated activity with children will be required to hold an Enhanced DBS Check.

This change aligns Assistant Coach requirements with other coaching roles and supports Volleyball England’s ongoing commitment to creating safe, enjoyable and inclusive environments for all participants.
