After a succesful Inter Regional Beach Championships last month and another round of SW Junior Beach training sessions last weekend. We once again find ourselves heading back to the Cardiff Beach Centre, this time for the Junior Commonwealth Cup.
A new event this year, teams have been drawn from around the UK & Ireland. Being a U19 event for us (U21 for the smaller regions), we have been able to bring in a few of last season’s U18 IRB players.
For the Girls we have selected: Ekin Ozerciyes & Alexia Morosanu, Heidi Bright & Katie Tuohey, they will take on: Scotland 1, Scotland 2, Ireland, Wales, South England, Northern Ireland and an All-England team for the title.
For the Boys, we have selected: Mattie Tildesley & Rob Morgan, Tom Lycett & Harry Brett to represent the Southwest, they will take on: Scotland 1, Scotland 2, Northern Ireland 1, Northern Ireland 2, Ireland, South East and Wales.
