We have an Assistant Coach position available to work with the SW U17 Girls squad for the 2026/27 season. You will be working with our coaching secretary, team manager and other members of the SW coaching and admin team, hence it’s an excellent opportunity for anyone who wishes to get involved with regional coaching.
Training dates are currently being arranged, the program involves 4 hours monthly training sessions and selecting a squad to represent the region at the 2027 Inter Regional Championships.
The following job descriptions are a guide only but will outline some of the duties and tasks involved in running the squad. The ideal candidate will have several years coaching experience coaching at various levels of volleyball with a preference of coaching girls/ladies.
We would also like to hear from young and enthusiastic coaches who are currently working their way up through the coaching program and who would also like to get involved.
Duties
• Contribute to session planning
• Help with guiding players with various drills
• Assist with executing session plans
• Provide constructive feedback to players
• Provide evaluation scoring and feedback for players
